Q. When will Dacia be launched in the UK?

 

The Dacia Duster and Sandero models will be launched in the UK in late 2012. You’ll be able to see a Dacia Duster at your local Dacia dealership from July 2012. More information on product and pricing will follow closer to launch, but sign-up to our Dacia E-Newsletter here to be kept informed.

 

Q. How much will a Dacia car cost?

Dacia is pronounced “Datch-ee-er” or “ˈdat͡ʃi.a]

Q. Where will I be able to buy a Dacia when it goes on sale in the UK?

 

As in Europe, Dacia will be sold through appointed Renault main dealers in the UK. These dealerships will be dual-franchise Renault-Dacia sites. A list of Dacia dealers will be published on this website nearer to launch – subscribe to our E-Newsletter to be kept up-to-date.

 

Q.  Where will I be able to service my Dacia?

 

All Renault dealerships will be fully qualified and equipped to service, repair and maintain your Dacia.

 

Q. Are Dacia cars reliable?

 

Dacia cars use only useful technology, so their simple, robust design means they're built to stand the test of time. That’s why Dacia finished second, just behind Audi, in the 2010 J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Survey, in Germany.

 

Q. What is the link between Renault and Dacia?

 

The Renault Group bought the Romanian car manufacturer Dacia in September 1999. Through shared technology and production methods, Renault has helped Dacia become an icon in its own right, selling over 348,000 vehicles worldwide in 2010. Dacia  was also fifth best-selling passenger car brand brand in France in 2010.

 

The ultra-affordable Dacia Logan helped to spark Dacia’s renaissance, selling over 230,000 units worldwide in 2007, whilst the recent addition of the Sandero supermini and Duster crossover have helped Dacia’s range go from strength to strength.
